Double Wedding Program
2011 The adventure begins in the Pyrenees. The Vulture in stages. Julian Sanz
We'll have two grueling days in which we will face climbs of more than 30 kilometers above the 1,600 meters. To whet your appetite on Saturday ahead 146 km and 2520 meters of vertical climbing accumulated with the ports of Somport (1640m), Ichère (674), Lie (600), these two short but intense, and the final climb the mythical Marie Blanque (1035m), the lady Pyrenees.
If all went well, Sunday's will be more 'quiet', with increases to the ports of Portalet (1794m) Hoz (1272m) in a stage of 76 miles and 1,920 cumulative vertical meters. Thus, at the invitation of Aramon Bike , organizer of the QH by the Peña Ciclista Edelweiss, I will have the opportunity to (try to) climb several mountain passes to that year after year and I enjoyed watching the crowning suffered major professional cyclists during the sultry afternoons of July.
